Reading our earlier blog posts you’ve probably noticed that we’re bringing you a lot more activity for you to participate in CPA Congress 2008 through the web.
The theme of ‘fresh thinking, real success’ filters through all our online initiatives, which are designed to help you get more from your CPA Congress experience.
Take up our invitation to connect and contribute – discuss your ideas, share your challenges, form connections with the people you meet – both online and in person at CPA Congress.
To do this, this year we’re launching some new tools to make sure you can do this easily and quickly, before, during and after CPA Congress. I’d like to highlight two of these to you – you’re reading one now – the CPA Congress blog. This is aimed to give you a heads-up on what you can expect at CPA Congress this year – you’ll hear from us, the people that organise Congress, and also from members and presenters. We welcome your questions and comments!
Closer to CPA Congress itself, you’ll see the CPA Congress community get underway. This is an online network, similar to Linkedin or Facebook, except that it is private and specifically for our CPA Congress audience. You’ll create an online profile and have the ability to connect with other delegates attending CPA Congress. This means you’ll have opportunity to join online groups with similar interests and participate in discussion forums about what’s important to you.
This is vital in the business environment we all operate in – we’re on the crest of the wave that’s bringing new opportunities for organisations and people to connect and collaborate like never before over the web….it’s often called disruptive innovation, and it’s important to know what it means for you, your business and your career.
So come to CPA Congress – online and face-to-face – join in with the conversation, open your mind to the possibilities and contribute. We look forward to it!
